Chef Brett Hulbert has been cooking all his life, from French toast for his family as a kid to Seaglass at the Golden Inn in Avalon, New Jersey, where he was most recently Executive Chef. In a 23 year career Brett has visited the world's best cuisines and made them his own, and has a special fondness for the tastes and delights of the Mediterranean.
Brett: “I like to improvise. We are keeping the wonderful dishes, such as Lobster Ravioli, that have been the cornerstones of Portabello’s, but I experiment constantly and am looking forward to updating and changing the menus and the experience of eating here. We're adding steak and grill entrées, and an ever-changing offering of seasonal specials and fish based on market availability.”
